Honda K-serie's engine: K20A - Honda's the best of the best!!!!

K-engine serie is the most contrary serie in Honda engines. On one hand, they have absolutely extraodinary characteristics and capabilities, in the other hand, there are many problems (often just miracle problems because of bad hands of mechanics).
However

The Honda Civic Type R is the highest performance version of the Honda Civic made by Honda Motor Company of Japan.
The first Civic to receive the Type R badge (based on the 6th-generation 'EK' Civic) was introduced in August 1997, as the EK9. The B16B engine boasted one of the highest power output per litre of all time for a naturally-aspirated engine with 185 PS (136 kW; 182 hp) from 1.6L of engine displacement. The interior featured red seats, red door cards, red Type R floor mats, a titanium shift knob, and a Momo leather-wrapped steering wheel.
There are several modifications of Honda Civic EK9 released from 1997 to 2000.

Japanese Years vs Gregorian calendar

Japan has a quite different year counting system from the rest of the world. It is called Nengo, and each era is associated with one Emperor. The year an emperor ascends the throne is the first year of a new era, and the era stays the same as long as the emperor reigns.

Suspension Tune Up: let's go!!!

At frist, please note that tuning of suspension is not one day deal. You should try to do only one or two settings at a time and correct changes in right way. And of course the main goal of all tuning operations is fast, comfortable and safety drive. Not only fast ;)

Honda B-series engines: B16 & B18

The B-Series engines have become the most coveted Honda engines due to their reliability and the ability to produce high horsepower relative to their displacement. They are also readily available and can be found reasonably priced. The major benefit of the B-Series engine is also the ability to be transplanted into various Honda chassis, such as the Honda Civic.
The legendary engine of B16 serie was introdused in 1989. It was the first engine with VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control). Since that moment DOHC VTEC on the desk of the engine has become brand identity of Honda high-power
